Exclusive Interview: Steph Adams Shares Insights on Fashion, Empowerment, and Future Projects

1. What pivotal moment shifted your focus from modeling to pursuing a path of storytelling and advocacy for women’s empowerment?

I have always been a strong believer in lifting up women but more importantly I believe by sharing each other’s stories of struggles and success we are able to inspire one another to keep going on our journeys and achieving our goals.

2. How do you balance the allure of luxury fashion with your commitment to promoting inclusivity and diversity?

Following my passion for style and luxury fashion has resulted in various interviews with women, particularly in France, where the women of Paris truly understand the fundamentals of style. After attending Paris Fashion Weeks for the last nine years, I’ve found inspiration for many of my best-selling books, where I feature diverse women’s voices. These books include: Style Secrets, Fashion & Style, Style in Paris, Luxury in Paris, and Fashion Icons.

3. Could you share a unique lesson from your book that resonates deeply with women aiming to find their personal style?

Style Secrets features advice from individuals in the fashion industry—supermodels, editors, designers, and stylists. I believe in keeping it simple with blacks, creams, and whites. Invest in one or two luxury handbags; you don’t need a whole collection. Never throw anything out unless it’s worn through—stylists may advise purging, but I suggest storing items as you may wear them again in five years. Invest in quality jewelry, a good coat, and a standout blazer. Mix designer with comfortable finds, adding elegance through one great pair of shoes or sunglasses.

4. How do you envision this platform evolving to continue to inspire women worldwide?

My next book will feature women from around the world with truly inspiring stories. I hope to continue producing books that I believe in and that fill a void in existing literature.

5. What advice would you offer to young women seeking to navigate the world of luxury and fashion in the digital age?

Social media can open many doors and serves as today’s business card. You have to remain strong in your convictions, as there will be those who try to bring you down. Stay true to who you are, and if you can uplift other women along the way, you have found your niche.

6. Could you share any upcoming projects or causes you are passionate about and how these align with your vision of empowering women globally?

I am passionate about supporting children with learning disabilities, promoting environmental change, and raising breast cancer awareness. Many stories in my next book highlight women who have established charities. This book will help raise awareness for these causes. Supporting women has been close to my heart since I lost my cousin to suicide at sixteen; we must be kinder, as we never know what someone is going through.

Steph Adams’s journey is a testament to her resilience, creativity, and compassion. Through her books, her advocacy, and her presence in fashion, she continues to inspire women worldwide. Her commitment to empowering women through storytelling, style, and philanthropy sets her apart as a true icon, not just in fashion but as a global leader for change.
